SUMMARY:Laplacian growth models and Loewner's equation
DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Nikolai Makarov\, Caltech\n\nLoewner's equation provides a powerful analytic tool and unified approach to the study of various aggregation processes in the complex plane (such as Laplacian random walks, Hele-Shaw and diffusion limited aggregation models). I will discuss some open problems and recent developments in this area.
