Title	The Beilinson-Lichtenbaum conjectures
Abstract	We study zeta-functions of arithemetic schemes (for example, the Riemann-zeta function), and use them to motivate the Beilinson-Lichtenbaum conjectures. We then explain what is known at this point, and which part of the conjecture remains open.
