We will discuss our studies of biological systems wherein we can alter metabolic enzymes and proteins and determine both the effects on the health of the cells as well as the effects on metabolic flux. Metabolism is a complex network of interconversions and truly understanding metabolic flux is a very difficult task that requires mathematical modeling.
