KARLC

      INTEGER FUNCTION KARLC (CHAR)

          Return  the  lower-case equivalent  of  the  single
 Hollerith character  CHAR.  Only the letters  "A" - "Z" will
 be affected by this function.  If the host computer does not
 support  lower-case letters, then KARLC  must return CHAR as
 its value.
