       REAL FUNCTION  FITTC2 (I,J,K,P,MP)
 C$    (Triangulate - Internal Comparison Number)
 C$    The  comparison  number  cno  must  be  very  negative  for
 C$    clockwise ordered triangles  for the optimizer  to work  as
 C$    written.   This   is  automatic   for  area/perimeter   and
 C$    tangent(small angle) but must  be invoked artificially  for
 C$    (small side)/perimeter.
