Taking an ALEKS assessment on campus

An in-person, proctored ALEKS may be taken at the UOnline Testing Center in the Marriott Library in Salt Lake City.  When scheduling, please be sure to choose a day and time that you will be available to come to campus, and plan to be at the testing center for your reserved time.

  • When you come to the testing center for your ALEKS, please bring the following:  your University of Utah ID (if you are an incoming student and don't have this yet, a government issued ID will be accepted), pencil(s), and your uNID and password that you set up to go with your uNID.   Unless it is part of your accommodations you do not need to bring a calculator, you will have access to a calculator in the ALEKS system.  Before coming to the testing center, please be sure that you are familiar with your U of U login.  This will include setting up the two-factor authentication for your uNID login if you haven't done this already.
  • There will be no in-person ALEKS testing available on the following dates:  April 13 - May 1 (spring semester final exams) and July 27 - July 31 (summer semester final exams).
