       SUBROUTINE  DEM27 (NIN,NOUT)
 C$    (DEM27 - Shaded Contours of Gaussian Well)
 C$    Demonstration of the potential felt  by two particles in  a
 C$    gaussian  well.   The  surface  arises  from  the  use   of
 C$    hyperspherical harmonics in quantum mechanics.  Here it  is
 C$    used  to  illustrate  a  technique  of  shading   alternate
 C$    contours in the X and Y directions.  If colored inks and  a
 C$    broad-point  pen  are   available,  reasonably   acceptable
 C$    results can be obtained.
