       SUBROUTINE  DEM28 (NIN,NOUT)
 C$    (DEM28 - Coarse and Detailed Surfaces)
 C$    Demonstration of the potential felt  by two particles in  a
 C$    Gaussian  well.   The  surface  arises  from  the  use   of
 C$    hyperspherical harmonics in quantum mechanics.  Here it  is
 C$    used to illustrate  a technique of  sketching out a  coarse
 C$    surface into which is inserted  a denser region of  special
 C$    interest.  The detail which is desired is the shape of  the
 C$    bottom of  the  troughs  crossing  at  the  center  of  the
 C$    drawing.
