Professional opportunities
- UCTM fall event will take place on October 12. More info to follow.
- The annual NCTM meeting for 2008 will be held April 9-12 in Salt
Lake City. This is a great opportunity for the teachers and future
teachers of Utah to attend an annual meeting at a more reasonable cost
than when the meeting is out of state. One way to become involved is
to volunteer at the meeting. The volunteer forms for NCTM are now
available online at NCTM If you have questions, you may contact

- A student e-membership is only $38, conference registration is $96 for the full 3-day conference (If you are a member.)
- If you volunteer to work a day, you get in free for that day.
- Bryant Baird of Northwest Middle School is looking for 2 or 3 students who could come to his classroom and do some tutoring with small groups.
